Blast from the Past week 3 - earned all rewards even though game couldn't save

Kind of what the title says ...

I played weeks 1 and 2 fine, no problems. This week I couldn't get the game to save - it just kept hanging, so I had to keep using my laptop's resource monitor to shut the game down. Eventually I just kept playing the scenario through to the end, gaining enough reward points to get all the rewards. At the end of this I still couldn't save the game.

i decided to delete the accountDataDB.package file to see if that would help save. I went back into the game, and it saved fine. I checked and all the rewards that were earned during the unsaved game are still earned. However the save is at the point it was at the end of week 2, none of the progress (mending the computer, turning the computer into a time machine etc, etc) not having happened.

When it comes to next week, week 4, do you think all this will cause a problem? If so - is there a way to reset the game back to the beginning of week 3?

    Hi - no I completed all the tasks before saving and achieved all the rewards, but then the game wouldn't save. I still have all the rewards available in the game even without the save (not in the sims' inventories or anything like that). I'll see what happens next week - hopefully it will carry on as if the game has saved and the thief has been ifentified or whatever the last task was (I can't remember what it was). Thanks very much.
