Bread, Cheese, Milk & Neighbors

First can't wait for the new baby life stage. I came back after a long break from the Sims 4 after hearing about infants. But, please can you fix Sims from eating bread and cheese. It shows up in the game like they are leftovers. So I think that is always why Sims will eat bread and cheese. Also can you stop the Sims from drinking milk all the time? It would be cool if we could lock ingredients to cook only. I had a party in my game and my neighbors started drinking their milk. I had drinks made on the counter but they still went for the milk!

Then with neighbors... They are walking in my house from the front door. Going out the back door, then knocking on the back door. ☹️ I hope we can get a fix/update to the neighbors.

I don't think these things are a bug per say, I think its items/activities in the game that has not been tweaked. Hope we can get these little annoyances in an update one day.

    If your kitchen gets too much attention from guests, have you tried locking the kitchen doors for everyone but the household? I do that with bedrooms and computers as soon as I move into a lot.

    The cheese eating is annoying I absolutely agree. Especially as they do it when there is other food there, plus when there's cheese you get the leftovers option on the fridge still, even when the leftovers are finished. It's the cheese confusing the fridge options. Mind you, the pet food does the same thing! My Sims keep grabbing the dog's food by mistake! Ick 🤢.

    This is not the same issue exactly, but I struggle with vegetarian sims choosing non-vegetarian leftovers from the fridge, even when there would also be vegetarian food left, and then becoming upset and/or throwing up. I have to keep opening the fridge menu to guide the right sims to the right leftovers.

    @simsplayer818, I have an open kitchen in this house. ☹️ I just it can be fixed soon. But I guess I could close it off.

    I think it's time for an overhaul of food in the sims 4. After all the bug fixes there might be for the new pack coming out. lol

    @Tibbinova I agree. I wouldn’t mind if they go grab bread if it’s the only thing in the fridge but I’ll have two different excellent quality meals in the fridge with multiple servings left in each, and they still go for the bread when you tell them to get leftovers. They’ll autonomously cook grilled cheese, drop it on the tv table, then go eat a slice of bread. I’ve even seen some Sims choose a slice of bread over their own birthday cake!

    Oh yeah, butternut gnocchi is GARBAGE, herb-crusted salmon is HOT GARBAGE. Plain, naked bread? THAT'S THE GOOD STUFF. No butter, no jam, no cheese. JUST BREAD.

    My Sims have been doing this since Cottage Living came out. Grrr.

    Yes I remember my sims did that once. Very annoying. I hope its fixed soon.
