Broken Elemental Display Rack

I wanted to share a bug I’ve encountered in The Sims 4 and see if anyone else is having the same issue.

Basically, the Elemental Display Rack (the one used to store elements collected from the Chemistry table or sent to the Geo Council) isn’t working properly. I can’t drag any elements into it, and trying to place them using the inventory or "place in world" method doesn’t work either. It just won’t register the element at all.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Restarted the game
Removed mods/CC to test in a vanilla save
Replaced the rack with a new one
Tried with different Sims and households

None of these worked. The elements show up in my Sim’s inventory just fine, but they won't snap to the rack like they used to.

Is anyone else having this issue? If so, please chime in so we can help get it on the radar for a fix.

    I am having this same issue! I believe it started after the last patch before Enchanted by Nature. I am definitely dragging the original 12 elements onto the Elemental Display Rack, and they're not slotting into it like they normally do. 

    I also tried the same fixes you tried: restarting, vanilla save, replacing the rack, etc. 

    Hopefully they can get this fixed!

    I thought I was going crazy. I knew I hadn't used it in a long time, so I thought I was doing something wrong. Even when removing all mods and starting in a fresh mod free save - I can not get any of the original elements to snap in.
