Bug - Sim can't interact with most items.

hey, I'm having trouble with my game, and I tried looking for post that delt with my issue, but I can't find anything. I saw post about how to fix a bug where a sim can't sleep or shower, but my issue is more complicated.

I don't know if this is a recent bug since I haven't played the sims 4 in a while. Anyway, my issue with my game is that my sim won't do the animations for certain actions. Example: When I would try to click on the bed to make my sim sleep, they stand still and at the bottom of the screen it says they're sleeping, but they're just standing there, and their sleep doesn't go up like normally. This happens with other interactions too. My sims won't sleep, eat, shower, interact with other sims, watch tv, sit. It's honestly bothering me that my sim can only use the toilet and walk around when I click on "Go here". 

I've tired repairing my game, uninstalling the game and redownloading it. Removed all my cc and mods and ran the base game only and still the same issue. 

I know some mods were making the game glitch out like the more column's mod. It made my screen white, but I got rid of it, and its fine now. My issue is that my sims can't do anything.
