Burnout

I get very frustrated with Burnout as well, and I wish they made it a toggleable feature. When your sim gets the initial moodlet, pay attention to what type of burnout/fog it is. I believe the two different types are Creative fog and Mental fog. If your sim has the Creative fog/burnout, make sure your sim doesn't do any Creative skills/activities until the moodlet is gone. I could be misremembering, but I believe that working on Mental skills/activities decreases the time on the Creative fog moodlet. If your sim has Mental burnout, do the opposite: don't to any Mental activities and do do Creative ones. Whenever my sim is in Mental burnout, I immediately click on them and queue up the "Practice Singing" interaction, and make them do that until the moodlet is gone. I believe you need City Living for that interaction though, but dancing should work too. Some examples of creative activities: homestyle & gourmet cooking, singing, dancing, painting, writing, knitting. Some examples of mental activities: programming, gardening, logic, robotics.
