@Simmergirl18 I've had to turn it off, 2 sims in a 2-floor house with a basement and I've had dust piles and filth fiends pop up while they're vacuuming an almost clean floor. I thought it would be nice to give my maid/butler something to actually do but that's the only thing they DON'T do so what's the point? It accumulates in an entirely unrealistic way, remember, I have only 2 sims in the house but every floor just sprouts massive dust piles every few hours. How is this supposed to be fun? I adore the dust bunnies and was hoping to befriend a filth fiend but all they do is vacuum and I can't find a single trash can they can kick over to finish the stupid aspiration! Every one says there's no fresh trash. What is going on???
EA is working on a fix to the number of Dust Bunnies/Filth fiend you can read about that in the Laundry List. I recommend you use a fully upgraded robot vacuum (one per floor). Maids will vacuum but not remove Dust bunnies. For the trashcan it needs to be an outdoor trashcan.
- @jpkarlsen Aaahh... I have no outside trashcans because we'r celerities and the Stans will rummage through and leave a mess for us to clear up! I have the indoor can that gives money for putting trash in it. I do use the best vacs and get my sims to fully upgrade them before putting them in their inventories. So the robot vacuum is best for this? I thought I was getting the best with the upright ones. Thanks.
