Can I cure the Sims affected by the Mother Plant w/o playing Strangerville again

Yeah,  that's what I was afraid of.  Oh well.  Guess I have something to take care of then as much as I don't really want to spend my time doing that.  But I like the infected sim and it is really annoying having her spaz out every once in a while.  I am also afraid other sims might become infected also if I do nothing.  Sheesh.  Wish there was a cure in the Apothecary career for that.
