@Pick-a-boo_doo I have heard that’s now where the Happy at Home login rewards are now saved. I would back that file up just to be safe.

Hi there
Thank you for your reply.
So we should keep the 'accountDataDB.package' file.
By the way, our previous Happy at Home login rewards were saved in UserSettings, but will the data be carried over to accountDataDB.package even if we don't copy UserSettings to a newly created folder?
Also, if the file has copied UserSettings, is it okay if we accidentally delete the file after accountDataDB.package is generated? @Pick-a-boo_doo I didn’t actually know, so I took the user settings file out and tested a new save. While I got pop-ups explaining what SDX drops and lot challenges were and all my packs were marked as new in aspirations and Sim types (though oddly not in clothing nor build/buy), my Happy at Home login rewards were still there.

Thank you for taking your time to testing!
If I find the something else, I will add it here too. - crinrict5 months agoHero+
@Pick-a-boo_doo Just adding my two cents.
The event rewards from the happy home login rewards are now saved in this file.
When you first start the game after the patch, the file is created from the info in the usersetting.ini to check if you have the Happy Home rewards and if you do, they are added to the new file and removed from the usersetting file,
So going forward, back up this file. Usersetting is back to being just a file that doesn't need backing up.
Any usersettings backed up before the patch can still be used to get the rewards back.
My guess is that on console something went wrong with doing the switch hence the rewards are lost for console players.Removing accountsDataDB will remove the rewards from your game.
This is probably preparation for the next event that will actually get saved to our accounts. Looking forward to testing that out :D
UPDATE: Happy Home are now base game.

Hi there
Thank you for the detail working of the accountsDataDB.package file and also its relationship to UserSetting.ini file.
I created a fresh folder and tried it again.
When I started the game immediately after creating it, the previous rewards did not appear, but I was able to confirm the rewards by copying the accountsDataDB.package file.
For PC/Mac players, I confirmed that once the previous rewards are recorded in the accountsDataDB.package file, all I need to do is copy this file.
I think I'll keep the current accountsDataDB.package file for a while.
Thanks again. I accidentally deleted my accountDataDB.package file that had my happy home rewards on ☹️
Is there anyway to get the rewards back?
- crinrict5 months agoHero+@ashlo81 Do you have any backups or a backup of usersetting.ini from before Patch 1.109.185 ? If so, you can plop them back in.
lol, I was just researching that package file. I didn't update my game because I have a bunch of mods and I like to wait until they are all updated. But I just got a new computer and moved all my stuff to the new computer and then saw that file and I was wondering what that was and thought is that because I'm on a different computer. Glad to know this is normal. I wonder if that can be deleted too because I already did. I started the game to get a new game folder because of the changes in my settings with graphics, etc. oops.
I think I have a backup of that file, but it might be from a while ago as I haven’t done a backup recently, so it might be way before that patch 🙈
