Can you have two separate games to play different mods?

I am trying to figure out how to have two separate saves for the different mods I have and do not want to use on my other saves.

Is there a way I can do that so I do not have to restart it anytime I wanna play it without a certain mod?

@MadGamer76131  I'm not sure what you mean by achievements.  But what you could do is create two different Sims 4 user folders, each with a certain group of saves and the mods you want to use with them.  If you move the Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts, or just rename it, the game will create a new folder the next time it loads.  So you could add some saves to that, and the mods you want for those saves, while using different mods in the original folder.

When you want to switch from one folder to the other, just move or rename the folder being currently used and put back the other folder or label it "The Sims 4" again.  The content in one folder won't influence the the saves in the other.

  • @MadGamer76131  There is no way to add or remove a mod without quitting and relaunching the game, if that's what you mean.  So if you want to switch between saves and use different mods in them, you'll have to quit, add or remove the relevant mods, and reload.

If you're asking something else, please elaborate.

@puzzlezaddict I want certain mods to be on a certain world/save but do not want them on the other. Anytime I remove the mod I lose all the achievements i have. Is there a way to do that? And I'm sorry its kind of hard to explain.
