Cannot find a place to swim in new neighbourhood river

I am really enjoying the new EP about the Ranch, but I am disappointed that I have been unable to find anywhere that my sims can swim in the lovely river running through the neighbourhood. Would it ...

It is actually in the middle just behind the rental. It is hardly big enough to be called a lake more a widening of the river.
