I'm having this problem playing with judith ward for the first time. Hope this is fixed.
I tried the workaround with a ONE actress household, switched to another household on lot and boom said actress disappeared. (Shift Click another non-household sim, Modify in CAS, exit) Clearly it doesn't work. The co-star left the lot as soon as the lot finished loading............................ September 2023 mind you.
Would like to report that the bug happened to me, on the gig Of Tea and Treachery, at the Flirt/Risky Flirt scene. The workaround of jumping to Modify in CAS, selecting another Sim within CAS and leaving the mode to switch control that other Sim, and then jumping back to my Actress did work at least this time around. I hope they look into marked Sims being unable to leave a lot until an event ends, have had similar stuff happen in HSY when it comes to the principal not showing up/leaving before the graduation ends.
Suddenly having this bug as well. I've played the acting career previously a few years ago and it was fine but now it isn't. :/
First gig it was the makeup artist that was MIA, couldn't get my hair and makeup done.
Next day, makeup artist is there but one of my co-stars is missing so I can't do 2 out of 3 scenes.
There's only one sim in the acting career in the household. There are no sims outside the lot when it loads for me to talk to, they're just straight up not spawning at all.
The CAS trick did get the other co-worker to appear so at least there's that.
I keep having to switch sims because of bugs making certain households unplayable for me and it just. keeps. happening. I still can't play my CoL sim because of all the bugs. At least this one has a workaround... ☹️
