Can't take a vacation - Jungle Adventure

I bought the Jungle Adventure game pack. It worked fine for a day, but then a problem occurred. Every time I go to my Sims' phone to "take a vacation" and go to Selvadorada, the button isn't clickable. It's gray, and when I hover over it with my mouse, a message is displayed saying "there are no available rentals for rent". I don't have a way to play the game pack now since I can't come to Selvadorada. Please help, thank you

  • MxxN03  This sounds like a corrupted or missing game file at worst, a mod issue or a glitch with that particular save.  So, first thing to try is a new save.  If the problem is not there in a new save without mods and CC if you use either.  If it works fine then, then try your existing save without mods and CC.  If it works fine, then it's something in your mods folder that you'll have to find and remove.  If the problem persists in a vanilla game without mods and CC, then try a game repair.  Delete the localthumbcache.package file before running the repair.  If that doesn't work, then try an uninstall and reinstall of the entire game.  If none of that works, then come back and we can go from there.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply! I tried everything - deleting the game pack and redownloading it, deleting the whole game and redownloading it, messing with various files in the game, and even deleting the game entirely (I had it through Steam) and downloading it straight from the EA app (because I didn't have the "repair" option when my game was downloaded from Steam)... But I never tried just doing a new save as you suggested. It worked! It's frustrating that I tried so many complicated things when the solution was so simple, but I'm relieved it's solved now. Thank you for your help

Glad CGrant56's solution worked! If you still want to try to recover the bugged save, I'm wondering what Selvadorada looks like in that save if you go to it via Manage Worlds?

Of course, if you're happy in the new save and it doesn't happen again, then no need to spend the time on further troubleshooting.

I already deleted the bugged save since I had no use for it, but for your curiosity, Selvadorada looked normal in Manage Worlds. I thought the lots might have accidentally changed to owned lots instead of being rentals, but nope. It looked completely normal
