Can't use front door April 2024

At this point I'm extremely confused. I've tried literally everything to figure out what's wrong with my door and I can't figure it out. It's going to irritate me that I can't center my door since it's the front door. I've attached pictures to show the problem. I also know that there isn't anything in the way as I have deleted the whole dang wall and rebuilt it. I don't know what the problem is.

    I had left the lot and came back and the bug as still happening. I've rebuilt my house at this point since I had a stock pile of simoleons, I had been saving up because my sim was pregnant with triplets.

    @Estella_lilith Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. If not, please let me know and I'll move you out of the Mod/CC Issues area.

    @luthienrising Still isn't working. I think I might have to rebuild the house. At this point that's what I'm going to do. Then I know for a fact there's nothing in the way of the door. Threw in the towel for today because I was getting extremely upset. Thank you though.

    @Estella_lilith   Hello!  Ugh, I know how upsetting it can be when things don't work properly. :-(  I know you said you were going to rebuild but I wondered if you might share the lot to the Gallery.  I'd like to check it out in my game to see if I can figure out the problem.  If you decide to share it, please provide your Gallery EA ID (if different than here) and also name it something like "Problem With Front Door".  This way, if you share it, others will know there's a problem and it's easy to find.

    I uploaded it. I named it Front door bug and my name is still the same. Sorry it took so long for the reply.

    @Estella_lilith I did have a simmilar bug. I couldn't use any door. The house could only be seen from the outside as if i didn't owned the lot. I tried deleteting the lot and just building a box with a door and still couldn't enter. But after traveling to another lot and going back it got fixed.

    @Estella_lilith   I'm glad you found a solution through rebuilding the house!  Thanks for uploading the lot though!  I put it in a test save and my sim was able to walk in and out.  I don't see anything that would've caused a blocked path.  Is it possible that you had locked the door for everyone at some point for some reason, even inadvertently?  That's the only other thing I can think of right now that would cause a routing failure.

    I just got this bug as well. Very frustrating and annoying. I'm on PS4 and have the latest patch and it was working fine up until today.

    @Uigenna   Hello!  Sorry that you're having trouble with this.  I'm not sure what could be causing it.  Perhaps you could try saving the lot and placing it somewhere else to see if it works there?  Maybe then try bulldozing your current lot and replace it?

    Would you mind sharing the lot to the Gallery?  That way I could see if it works in my game.  If you do share it, please provide your Gallery name (if different from here) and also name the lot something like "Problem with door" so others know there is a problem.
