can't water, weed or spray crops

I'm not able to tend to my garden properly for some reason? the normal plants are fine but the oversized crops have no fighting chance to live. not sure what I'm missing. happening to anyone else? i ...

    I had the same issue, after going through all of my mods I discovered my issue was caused by Cepzid's "kids can garden" mod, probably due to the game update allowing kids to cook and garden.

    I imagine it could be any similar gardening mod.
    Once I removed it I was able to weed/water/spray bugs as normal.
