Can't Woohoo or Try for Baby

I just started experiencing this issue today. My high-school sweetheart sims that grew up and got married,  with a perfect and compatible relationship, can't woohoo or try for a baby, no matter the location. It just shows their interaction talking about it, and increases their romance bar without action. No action means no moodlets or baby. Please fix this issue! Hours of gameplay would go to waste. I did just install lovestruck earlier
