Cats and dogs aging control
I would really like to see an option in game were if we turned aging off for our sims. We could control whether cats and dogs still age or not aswell as how long there lifespan can be. So I was wond...
It would be nice to have a separate setting for the pets. You can also buy age-down treats at the vet though - I usually give them one as soon as they age up to elder so I get a double adult lifespan.
Yes the aged up and aged down treat are good addition that came with cats and dogs but still wish we could control them aging. Just because I want my cats and dogs to be able to age up and eventually died of old age but I would like to be able to control there lifespan.
The situation in my game right now. I am a console player who is playing families in rotation with aging off. I'm manualing aging my sims up with birthday cake. I don't have any cats or dogs. When I am ready for my elder sims to pass on from old age I will be moving them to a care home that I built and then I will turn on only active household aging on for them but if my household is full of elders they can't have any cats or dogs to get to the death of old age for pets. This why I think having the option would be more beneficial then me having to try and think of a work around. I love cats and dogs and want to play with them just not sure what to do to be honest.
Hope this all make sense. I does to me anyway. I just wish we had more control over cats and dogs aging just like we have with the animals from cottage living with turn on and off their aging in pack settings in game already.
Thank you.
I wish they would just let us age elders and elder pets up too, so we got the option to get them to their ghost stage. When they are ghosts we can then decide when to have the funeral and when to "let them go". Cakes and aging up treats really should just let us age up our old ones too.
