CC Help

I recently downloaded the new spa patch. 
For some reason my custom content is not showing up. When I try and create a sim my cc is all there. Yet when I go to the families I’ve already created, their cc no longer shows up on them.

can someone help ?!

    @sharee730 Hello!  I'm sorry your CC isn't working.  I think the reason is that the latest patch updated the game's code to allow for things like nails and mask treatments. This may mean that your CC could be broken or incompatible with the game now.  First, I suggest these steps.

    1. Create a folder on your desktop and move all your CC to that folder. 

    2. Delete the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder

    3. Open the game and check to make sure mods/CC are enabled

    4. Close the game and move your CC back to the mods folder

    5. Open the game and see if your CC is working again

    If any of your CC is still not showing up in the game, then the only thing I know to do from there is to look for updated versions from the creators.  Hopefully, they have updates available wherever you downloaded the CC.

    @sharee730 So, when you create a new sim, you can choose from CC fine. But any older sims you made that HAD cc, it's all gone?

    After the update, did you play the game while CC was disabled?

    Problem is, if you SAVED the game while CC was disabled, the game will remove all CC from all sims. Permanently.

    You can either re-outfit every sim one-by-one or see if you can recover an older save.
