Characters can't go to another lot with the whole family of 5 characters
A family of 5 characters can't go anywhere with the whole cast. When sending a family to another area, the game writes that you can send a maximum of 7 characters, but only 1 character can be selected additionally. I play without mods and content networks.
nasdis Yep, that happens from time to time in my game. I haven't figured out exactly why it happens but am pretty sure it's related to earlier travel with less than the full household, say 2 or 3 household members. After you travel with the lower number of sims a few times, the next time you try to travel with a larger group, it strikes.
The way to fix it is simple. Shut down the game, delete the localthumbecache file and restart the game and navigate back to where you were. The full household should be able to travel at that point. At least, that's the way it works in my game.
