Chased By Death Reaper Sim question

My sim has had quite a few stupid deaths caused by this chased by death trait. She's level 10 handiness but I don't dare let her repair a computer or anything because the one time I did, everything seemed fine until she walked a few rooms away and then suddenly died. Been other deaths too and I guess because she is a reaper, Grim keeps saving her. I'm not sure I ever fully pair attention until now. 

She went to work and got an assignment and immediately had to travel to it because there were no other tasks to do beforehand. So I had her click the scry bowl and travel to the assignment. Promptly when she arrived, and I mean the very moment she arrived, she got struck by lightning and was killed. Once again Grim gave the warning box and let her live. But it said final warning and she has a buff as well. I never noticed this before, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there. So now I am feeling a bit freaked out about the possibility of losing her for good. Especially when something crazy like lightning is going to kill her on the job. I mean it was instant and not like I could have her run out of the storm or think hmm, might get struck by lightning, let's return to the office. There was no time for that, she was just immediately zapped. 

If someone who has had experience with this and can tell me if this final warning is really a final warning or does it always say that and I didn't notice. I am not to the point where I can let my sims have a final death yet. Just cannot do it :(
