Cheat Bar not coming up?

Has anyone else had the cheat bar not working anymore after the update?

It has never happened to me but it could possibly mean outdated mods. If you use UI mods, such as UI Cheats, it was just updated, so make sure all of your mods are up to date. You could also try removing your mods folder just to test and see if the bar appears without them. If it does, then you know it is mod related. After every single game play, from within the Sims 4 folder, I delete all cache files. I also empty the cache, and online thumbnail folder. (it would not allow me to specify the names here). You may find your game runs better if you also clean things up. Good luck!

annaelise2014 I have to press shift ctrl windows key and c to get the cheat bar up, maybe try that if your not already doing so. My sims doesn't have focus for some reason but pressing the windows key as well brings it into focus.

annaelise2014 I have had it stop working once but the problem was mechanical. And it was entirely my fault as I have a bad habit of snacking at the computer when I play. I clogged the Ctrl key up just enough so it would not go completely down and make contact. I ended up replacing the keyboard. So, check your keyboard and check the keys. Ctrl and Shift are easy to test as there are two of them.

If you have added any new programs lately that remap any of the keys used in the command, it may be overriding the Sims 4 mapping. There has been a couple of reports where that has happened and may be happening to you. You can't remap the Sims 4 commands as far as I know, but you might be able to remap the commands using the same keys in the other app.
