Hi, have you got your 'online social features access' setting turned on in the 'other' tab of options? I think you need that selected to access the event 😃
Just updated my game to play the new Event but it wont even start. The event doesnt show up and isnt even being triggered in live mode. I have all mods disabled, repaired my game twice and created a new save file but it still wont trigger, please help!
Did you check all the suggestions in the first post ?
I hadn't actually seen the first post (I've never used the EA Forums before, so I don't really know how to effectively search for similar posts), however, I just opened The Sims 4 to try one of the suggestions and the event is now working for me, and I have the events button now. Not sure what changed, but now I should be able to play the event. Thanks for tagging me in this, though. extremely appreciated.
