[CoL] Possible bug with the chocolate cake?

On the Italian AHQ site, several users are reporting a bug in the Cottage Living expansion regarding the chocolate cake. Specifically, they're saying that they can't hand it over to the delivery guy because it's not in the inventory, when it is.
I don't own Cottage Living so I can't test it, and I couldn't find any corresponding post in the bug reports section. If any of you know more about this can you point me in the direction of how I can help? (for example if there is a link to a post here on the forum that I have not found)

It is not the entire cake he wants but one serving. So place the cake on a counter and get one serving.

Sorry to bother you again, but it seems that this is not the solution to the problem on the Italian AHQ. I already asked them to move the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the localthumbcache file and repair the game via Origin, but it didn't work... What can I do now to help them ?

Mods can cause problems in the game so it was good that you told them to test the game without any mods installed. The errand works as I explained with one slice of the cake in the inventory (there is another errand involving cheese where it is also one slice). If the OP tested the game without any Mods and with one slice of the cake in the sims inventory then it should work.

I have the same problem. Ive tried with a whole cake, I've tried with one slice. I cannot deliver it although it's in my inventory. Is there another solution 😔? I have no mods, all updates etc.

Oké I found it, and post it here to help the others. The solution is NOT a slice. The solution is to bring the right cake! You need to bake the chocolate cake that you need LEVEL 5 of cooking for. (so not the easy chocolate cake but the difficult one)
In English there seem to be differences between cake and pie. In translated versions this is not clear or there is no difference in name.
