Colab- X-Men

The Sims 4 did a collaboration with Star Wars awhile back, and I thought that it would be super cool if The Sims team did a super in depth collaboration with the X-Men franchise enabling your sims to play with some of the many famous characters and their powers, such as shapeshifting, flying, intangiblity, time travel and many, many more abilities and superpowers!!

  • @Anonanon27 While I do think it would be amazing, I don't think it be easy to make the sims have those powers. We kind of already have shapeshifting (with aliens and vampires) but it's limited to one shape which I really wish we could have more and we do also have flying with vampires as bats but I doubt that's what you meant.
For now, the closest option is using mods for powers and cc to make your sims looking like the characters you want

I'm on console so sadly mods/cc doesn't work for me, but I feel that the shapeshifting/flying with vampires/aliens/mermaids needs a serious in depth overhaul, I know I can switch to pc for free but only on base game, I don't exactly have the money to buy all the packs that i already have again but on PC.

Oh gosh I'd love this. X-Men are my favourite favourite heroes. My most precious thing (with apologies to my cat) is my X-men 2 film cell with the scene in the mansion where Wolverine touches the ice wall...I have that piece of film reel framed in my display cabinet.

I don't have werewolves and vampires so I don't know what actions they can carry out, like flying or whatever. I didn't add them because I don't want that element in my game. I've never liked those characters, except for watching Twilight mostly on fast forward or from behind a chair. I love Star Wars but I haven't added that because I just find it a bit random as a world and would have preferred a separate game for it.

They could even just do a costume collab to get the suits. But it's two massive corporations and a lot of licensing, etc. I don't know if they could, but then I didn't think they could do it with Star Wars and they did. But how cool would it be if our Sims could be heroes! They could add it as a personality trait or a reward trait, or part of the Scientific career. I have my Strangerville and my Scientists linked so why not Superheroes.

I have a celebrity Sim who wears a disguise and rescues strays at night but that's the closest I've got to a hero(she's a celeb villain during the day).

My Sims Cosplay at the Geek.con but it could use some variety as a lot of NPCs wear the same costumes.

Oh now I'm dreaming of a Wolverine Sim, I'm so devoted to him I even bought his Broadway soundtrack 😳.

Lol I personally would have preferred to give my sims shapeshifting like Mystique, mind reading like Jean Grey or on/off diamond skin like Emma Frost, there's so many other mutations I can think of that I'd want to give my sims.

I would prefer to make it a reward trait as that way it doesn't take up one of the only 3 slots we have, though I do believe that The Sims need to bring more trait slots to the sims and give the traits more individualism to the sims as well.

@Anonanon27 I'd love to create a Sim based on Storm. I could pretty much create her look easily enough now but obviously without her powers.

Mermaid Storm, plus the weather machine, you'd have a sim with her powers.
