Can we please be done with selected colours and have a colour wheel update already? We should be able to change the hue, saturation, brightness, opacity not only for make-up but for everything. Clothes, accessories, hair, furniture, building, landscape… Its super annoying that I can not choose the exact colour I want on my sim’s clothes or the furnitures in my sim’s home. Please.

One simple reason why this isn't happening, at least not any time soon: SIZE. It would require a reworking of literally every item in the game in order to implement this. There IS a mod that accomplishes this, but its current size including all packs is 18 gigabytes. However, it does appear to come in parts, so you can pick and choose what you want to install.
