Constant Anger or Sad Moodlet

I had the same issue last night. My sims were constantly angry about their lives being controlled and for not having their aspirations filled, but the aspirations would be the "promotion" whim/want which takes a few sim days to fulfill. It was very frustrating because they will get mad WHILE at work, which in turn LOWERS their work performance and takes a lot longer for them to get the promotion to fulfill their whim/want/aspirations. It was very frustrating, to say the least. Every once and a while I understand the angry moodlet but every day made the game exhausting to play. My sim ended up becoming enraged and having a cardiac explosion even though I had her stand in front of a mirror for a few hours to calm herself down.
