I haven't seen anything about this or how to deal with it, but there seems to be a feature where random sims sabotage the entries at the Finchwick Fair. They sprinkle something on the fair entries on the stands, and the items either disappear (pies) or rot (produce). Is this connected to some gameplay, and can I call it out or prevent it? Or is it just something to watch out for?
I think that it may be sims that have the Grouch trait. They can sabotage items in that way.
The trait came as a reward trait with the Cozy Celebrations event.
Yep, these are grouch interactions. Was not aware they were autonomous. That's kind of cool but not great for an event like that. I can make a mod disabling it at the finchwick fair specifically, probably.

Thanks. I never would have thought of that. There were two at it the last time I played and the only way to keep them away was to physically fight them. 😒
I had never seen that before. CL is my first expansion. I thought maybe it was part of some quest. Thanks for the input.
