Deleted Sims
Recently I made a very rash decision and nuked the Sims 4 off of my laptop because I wanted to trim down my massive mods folder after some of them broke with the recent patch. I loved the sims that I created very dearly and I knew the consequences about what I was going to do before I did it but I continued anyway because I saw it as a fresh start. Now after redownloading everything and being welcomed to a nearly empty library that I severely regret not making a copy of my sims. So now I come here wondering if there is anyway for me to get them back aside from from remaking them.
@ProbablyBadIdea If you didn't make a backup and never uploaded your sims to the Gallery, then no, there's probably nothing you can do. EA doesn't support cloud saving for Sims 4. You might get lucky and have some leftover files stored in OneDrive (Windows) or iCloud Drive (macOS), but there's no guarantee.
