Deleting Sims in Sims 4

So I've created a couple of houses in different worlds and want to delete old sims living in them and make new ones. How do I do that without deleting the houses that I've built?

  • @caixrey One way you can do this is go to the Map screen and find the house you'd like to empty. Click on the "three dots" button in the lower right and then click on the "house" button with the little x by it (it's the middle button). This will evict the current residents of that house. It won't delete them from your game, it will just make them "homeless", i.e. they will not be living in any of the residential lots in your worlds. You can move them back into a different house if you want by finding them in the Manage Households menu (or you can just delete them from the Manage Households screen if you really want them gone from your game forever).

  • i use the evict icon under the truck icon, cause with the moving truck,it just shows which house u want them to move to and asks if you want to keep or sell furniture. With the evict button it  moves them out of the house without the keep sell option, so the house stays intact, then click the check mark you want to evict them they go directly to the manage household bin, from there you can delete them if you want

  • thank you both for the quick response! Finally able to play my game for real ❤️

  • If you don't want to keep them around as roaming townies, you can go straight into manage households and delete them from there. If you want to delete only individual sims, go to edit (i.e. CAS) and select them and delete them there (bottom left, X over their portrait).
