I want to keep my game running for a while without the popups that stop the game from running, like the likes/dislikes stuff and the parenting things, and it sounds like you can do that in Sims 3, but is there a way to that in Sims 4? Like a mod or settings or something?
No, not in a vanilla game.
If you want use mods then i have a solution for you. For the pop-ups with Dislike and Like: Zero or Bienchen have both mods to disable it. For Bienchen -> it is here (official forum) -> Site 6 -> Post 12 from 83 bienchen -> Sub-Folder Misc Mods -> sims4me_gainpreferencepopupsdisabled.rar
(If you want that sims still can gain preference then Lotharihoe version is maybe for you -> Automatic Preferences, just google : Lotharihoe automatic preferences)
For the parenthoods pop-ups ModTheSims-> No! Ask for Advice ~ Parenthood (ModCreater PolarBearSims)
I use both mods (Bienchen and PolarBearSims) in my modded save and they work great.
i had the same question. i would prefer to use a cheat instead of mods. is there a cheat?
Not without Twisted Mexi’s AllCheats.
If you have AllCheats, you can use
ui.dialogue.auto_respond
and, optionally,
Household.autopay_bills true
Be warned that the first one really, truly means what it says and your kids will all be named *** *** or something like that. Unless you’re doing a “leave your game unpaused overnight” thing, it might be better to use a different mod.
I Downloaded the all cheats but it's not working, i've tried but the ui.dialogue.auto_respond cheat doesn't work.
Hey - can you see you asked this months ago. But the issue is the past user had misspelt the cheat. It’s should read: ui.dialog.auto_respond
