Bumping... Has anyone had success with asking to be woohoo partners?

I had the exact same issue: I always asked to be woohoo partners and always got turned down.
I found out that if my Sim is best friends with the other Sim it works and they are now woohoo partners. I tried it with two differents Sims: One of my Sims is aromantic and always got turned down. It was successful when he became best friends with the other Sim. The other Sim was not aromantic but the Sim they wanted to be their wohoo partner was so I asked them and got turned down even when they were good friends and had very high friendship. As soon as they got best friends the interaction was successful.
I don`t know if this is a bug or if this is intentional, but in my opinion this is not how it should work. Being friends or MAYBE being good friends would be nice, but Sims can only have one best friend and this shouldn`t be the Sim they woohoo with. Maybe they have another best friend with whom they grew up with. I don`t wanna bunk them down just to make the ask to be woohoo partners interaction successful!

I've had Sims become Woohoo Partners before! I play vanilla (which means no mods) but I don't know the exact circumstances in which it happened, like if they were already good friends or whatnot. I will try to pay more attention next time my Sims get a Woohoo Partner to report back with more details lol
- s_stutler3 years agoRising Veteran@shinjitenoyami - I have had success. Immediately after updating to patch 1.93 (On Black Friday) I finally updated, and tried out this new interaction, on a completely vanilla game, with no CC or Mods.
The couple were friendly, and interested in both men and women. They accepted. Woohoo interactions happened immediately, but after that, they did not accept at all for the duration of the play, which lasted 2 Sim days. Eventually I just asked them to go into a relationship, as the other feature stopped working.
