@crinrict I did as you suggestes and I was indeed able to go into build mode and delete the plate. But it didn't resolve the issue, because now the error code message is gone but when I try to access my household an endless loading screen appears and nothing more happens.
@aribeth4 I have no issues loading your household. You do have issues when initially loading into the household, right ?
Did you save after removing the plate (under a new name) and then try again after restarting ?
- @crinrict I've tried to do it, but nothing, the problem is still there. I still can't access my household. Could it depend on something else inside the saves folder, like the save data of a mod? Maybe I should send you the whole folder? I removed other save files, so there's just the ones of my game and the subfolders

Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
- Close the game again
- Copy JUST your save game from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Saves
- Start your save
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
