Excessive townie generation issue

Hi... so, I think this is caused by going to University in Britechester. There are organizations that churns out endless amount of townies to fill those roles and NEVER recycles them... and I just spent two hours deleting hundreds and hundreds of these townies households. My laptop stopped working a few times when deleting these.

I noticed that the game's lag got so much worse when my Uni Sim household was on their 3rd term. When they graduated I went to Manage Households and I'm so discouraged by the amount of deleting I had to do. I like keeping my townie amounts light so my laptop don't suffer and y'know... die.

What I'm asking is... either please rethink the mechanics of new townie generation or consider improving the Manage Household UI to make it easier to perhaps mass delete unwanted townies. I'm close to tears like dang I'm stressed instead of having fun playing a video game!

    I don't think it's just Britechester related. I don't have any Sims there yet and I'm getting about a dozen new townies per game session every time I play. I've never seen anything like it before. It's driving me crazy.

    True, but Britechester is generating these townies like crazy, especially if you send a Sim there for University, doubly so if you go to the Uni commons building. The game refuses to recycle the previously generated townies for the Organization roles and just churns out new ones in batches of 12-20 per pop it's insane...

    That's interesting. I knew DU was fubar'd lately, but I'm having the exact opposite problem when I go to the Commons (on a recent previous play through). No one shows up at the Commons. But in my current game, I'm spammed with townies. I get the endless new townies at the gym locations. Such a great game, but. so. many. bugs.
