Fabrication Machine Stops

I am trying to fabricate any item at all, my sim gets about 45% done and then stops.  I have the option to "scrap" "purchase dyes" or "resume" and when I hit resume, my sim just stares at the machine and then it disappears from her queue.  It is happening with all of my sims.  I have "debugged", I cleared my cache, and exited the game, went to Origin and "repaired" the Sims 4 game, even.  I have tried selling my fabrication machine and buying a new one.  
I am unable to fabricate anything anymore, I have to buy them but I have not been able to buy the eco upgrade parts, I have not been able to finish a product in 3 human days.
What can I do to solve this problem?
My goal was to make everything that I could for my household.....but now I kinda can't.

    @mkslv707  Did you try fabricating on a different lot? Did you try moving the fabricator to the middle of a room with MOO off so there are no interference chances from anywhere? How high is the Sim's skill? I had mine make a candle first as I thought I read somewhere that doing this helps them raise some skill that is helpful on the fabricator. Do they stop because the machine shocked them or anything - are they dazed? Also, do you have, or did you recently have, any Mods or CC?

    Please re-queue 2-3 times if needed to get them to continue... maybe hit pause and play - to see if you can get them to snap out of it and continue. I seem to have more of them dropping the queued item now, and had to re-queue it up 2-3 times before it took. Please see if that works in your case.

    Can you send a screenshot of the area if it freezes up again? 
    Sorry for all of the questions. I'm just hoping something in them will give us a lead to what's happening in your game, as I could not reproduce the issue in mine. Thanks!

    Really annoying bug, still experiencing this too, after multiple attempts tot 'repair' te game.
    Makes every gameplay that needs a fabricator impossible, which is a lot in eco living, glad I bought this one on sale, because for me it's all about the gameplay, without fabricator it's not a lot extra gameplay

    @PyroBatNL Since I didn't hear back from @mkslv707 I'm not completely sure what was going on or if their issue resolved (their post is over a year old), but did you check my response above to see if any of the suggestions are possible for troubleshooting your situation?

    I looked under 'Bug Reports' and didn't find a report that seemed to match the issue you're having, so you could create a 'Bug Report' at this link: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-Bugs  Others can then confirm if they're having the issue, and is in the proper area to bring a bug to the attention of EA.
