@crinrict not anymore... I cleared cache files, deleted new mods, updated the ones I use all the time. I repaired the game and even completely deleted the TS4 folder from My Documents so it would regenerate from scratch. The only thing I can think of, (which I'm realizing now by trying other things), is that I hadn't noticed that all my games were filled with little bugs and glitches after installing the High School expansion (which I hadn't bought before because I don't usually play with teenage sims so I wasn't interested). So I'm seriously thinking that my problem goes beyond a cheat that doesn't work.

Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
