The build a bundle options aren't available to me and haven't been for a while. I thought it was just gone until a friend said they just bought a bundle they built. I looked up the list showing which packs were not eligible for the build a bundle and those aren't the packs I'm trying to buy. The option isn't available on the ea app or on the website, I've already looked through every FAQ page on it and there doesn't seem to be a reason as to why I can't build a bundle.
The packs I don't own are
Growing together
-
Parenthood - star wars - werewolves (which I'm aware werewolves is unavailable in a bundle)
-
Luxury party - bowling night - moschino - my first pet - spooky stuff
The only reason I can think of as to why I can't is that it's my last remaining expansion pack and it want's me to pay full price or because parenthood and my first pet are in premade bundles? But that doesn't quite makes sense either considering they are still listed as available options.

You know what would be cool? Is if, instead of having forums that may never be answered, EA had an actual customer service/help chat option. Imagine actually helping the people that give you money.
- PandoraTO3 years agoSeasoned AceThere seems to be a very deliberate silence about this particular issue. We can only speculate as to why. My theory is that they're actually getting rid of bundles, but they've decided to do it silently instead of stirring up our ire by announcing it. They may have calculated that most players who really want these packs will eventually break down and buy each one standalone for full price or for a lesser discount than a bundle. Personally, although I would like to have HSY and Growing Together eventually, HSY doesn't seem essential (like DU, I think I'd get tired of the school mechanic quickly) and Growing is still buggy. I don't mind waiting for them to be 50% off. Heck, I waited so long to buy Get Famous that I managed to snag it for 55% off!

Yeah, I think they just want to make their own bundles and not have build a bundles available. I did already buy growing together though 😆 I don’t usually do it for the game play of things, I do it for the build mode items. Like over the past two weeks I’ve spent… 20 hours building? I had to hurry up and finish a build last night because I’m so excited to use the kitchen items from the growing together pack in a new build.. coming soon lol. I will say, as someone who has wanted to build with gaming set ups in homes for years, high school years is pretty amazing too. The gaming computers, desks, and chairs make the pack worth it lol. I usually start my sims as teens with no parents, honestly. And it’s really cool to have the more detailed teen experience, like going to prom and such, even when I’m not choosing to go to the school every day.

@laseycu I've merged your post with the master thread for this issue, a thread that's an FAQ and pinned to the top of this forum, just not the one where you posted. The reason Growing Together isn't available to bundle is the same reason Werewolves isn't: the newest packs haven't been added to the bundle feature yet. As for why not, we don't know, there hasn't been an official answer.

I honestly didn’t even realize it was newer because I usually never care about “parenting/kids” packs. I thought it was even older than the cottage pack! Even so, I get not having your newest release in the bundle program but that would be the ranch pack. I actually feel like all the other expansion packs should be a lower standard price from the most recent pack, but that would just make sense.
