@EA_Lanna There has been minimal to no response in the chat by actual ea personnel. Am I correct in assuming this is an issue that ea has no intention to fix or even address as the only response we have gotten is that the packs are not available (even though some that are not available have been out for a year), yet we get no reassurance that the issue is actually being worked on. I asked you a direct question a couple of weeks ago and received no response I hope someone that actually works for ea will give us some clarification to this issue. And to be clear I am not referring to Growing Together when talking about not being able to bundle I am talking about My Wedding Stories, Highschool Years, and Werewolves. I know it takes a while for packs to be bundled after release, but it has never taken more than 4 months and my wedding stories has been out for a year. At this point I don't care if bundling is being retired, I just want a straightforward answer and to no longer feel completely ignored.

I have been trying to do the build your own bundle option for months. Frankly im fed up. of the expansions, i don't own 2. Of the game packs i don't own 2. and the stuff, well there's quite a bit of that i still don't own as well. Now i know Growing together was just released so that will take a bit, BUT Highschool Years has been out since the end of July 2022 (currently its march of 2023) and it still wont show up for me. Further more, Werewolves was released early June 2022, and Wedding Stories OVER A YEAR AGO NOW (Feb 2022) and neither of these are available for the bundle as well. Last time i reached out i was told it was a known issue with many individuals and they were working on a solution and i would be contacted with answers but that was almost 6 months ago. I just want some answers as to why these are not being made available for bundling after being available individually for so long when previously i've only had to wait a week or two to bundle the newest expansion/game packs in the Build Your Own Bundle option.

I know it takes a couple of weeks to be able to build a bundle with a new pack but I've been trying for days to bundle with Wedding Stories. It's the only game pack I don't have and Get Together is the only Expansion pack I don't have. I don't know if it's just because Wedding Stories isn't available to bundle right now or if it's because I only have one of each for game and expansion packs. I really just don't want to buy them all separately.

The Sims 4 High School Years was released on July 28th, 2022. Including today, that is 194 days / 6 months, 1 week, 3 days ago. The Sims 4 Werewolves was released on June 16th, 2022. Including today, that is 236 days / 7 months, 3 weeks, 1 day ago.According to the F.A.Q. for Build-a-Bundle written by someone else on this site, The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories is ALSO not available, which was released on February 23rd, 2022. Including today, that is 349 days / 11 months, 2 weeks, 1 day ago. I own this pack so it wouldn't show for me anyways. Historically speaking, it didn't take longer than 1-3 months for packs to be available in the store's Build-a-Bundle feature. The sheer laziness on EA's part is depressing for those of us who are smart enough to realize that the Build-a-Bundle feature is the most cost effective way to buy the Sims franchise, as buying each one of the three required types of packs without a sale is $70 before tax, and even during your best sales, the most recently released packs (even if there are newer ones or are about to be newer ones or its been nearly a year) never get the same awesome discount the other packs get, and usually costs $10-$15 more than just using the Build-a-Bundle feature.Not only that, but you refuse to give us updates. From all the research I've tried to do, you won't even seem to answer the question on whether or not we will ever get them in the Build-a-Bundle feature. You have given us a rather unfished game, and even if EA didn't make it themselves, they still allowed such an incomplete game to be sold, with expansion, game & stuck packs that are priced higher than they should. Plus kits. You can't even get kits in the bundles. So there's $95 for those, especially considering I've never seen the kits on sale. So my question which is more of a generalized statement is thusly; Either update the Build-a-Bundle feature that YOU gave to us to help grow our Sim collection, or remove it.There is no logical reason we'd had to wait this long. None. There are no discs being sold. Packaging does not have to be made to sell these. And if the My Wedding Stories pack has STILL not been added, then the only LOGICAL explanation is that you DON'T plan to add them, at any point ever, to the Build-a-Bundle feature. If that's the case, just remove it.And I also don't want to hear about "oh well not many use it" it that's the case you would have removed it from the EA/Origin store a long time ago, back when it wasn't earning you any money. But considering the threads I've seen, even about PAST bundles since added, they are OBVIOUSLY a popular feature. This is not said in malice, nor hatred, but rather just a simple: I'm tired of this. And by the look of some other threads, so are the rest of us.

@EA_Lanna can you at least tell us WHY they aren't available? The usual excuse is that the packs are too new, but that obviously isn't the case this time, so why can't we bundle the packs. Is it a coding error? Because at this point I have to speculate that since we haven't gotten any new stuff packs that they are basically trying too discourage us from bundling so bundling can slowly be a thing of the past just like stuff packs.

Hey everyone,
I have been on the EA website and the app and there is no option to build your own bundles or add on more games when purchasing. All I can see are EA made game bundles. Did they remove this option?

@Cstragalas The option does show within the EA App, but only if you are able to build a bundle. (In the Origin app, the button is there in the game's description regardless, but you'd get the "you're quite the collector" message if you owned everything.)

Please keep in mind that High School Years, Werewolves, and Wedding Stories cannot be bundled at this time. EA has not indicated when these packs will be added.

Ive been waiting for the build your own bundle to work with including High School years. Now that ive seen it on sale over the past weekend im wondering why the bundle still doesnt work. (also im still running game through origin)

@werschturtle I've merged your post with the master thread for this issue. High School Years is still not available for bundling, and if you already own all the other expansions, that's why you can't create a bundle. Please see the first post for more information.

WILL these packs EVER be available for bundling? This already got super annoying and angering even, you are being the most helpful when you don't even work for EA, while EA can't even give us a straight answer at all. Even when people ask them directly they say "we are aware of this issue and are working on it" but don't say anything more.

Thank you for all your help so far though, you're a great person.

@missyanderepie I don't know that any decision has been made on when, or whether, to enable bundling for the newest packs. It's possible no one from EA, or at least no one who ever interacts with users, has any answer to provide at all.

I will definitely update this thread when something changes, even if it's just an announcement. So feel free to subscribe to the thread if you want to get a notification.

It's really so frustrating. I have been waiting through multiple sales at this point since the bundle option still would end up being slightly cheaper. If they end up announcing in a few months, or a year, or who knows, that bundling will never be available for those packs, I don't even know??? Losing months of potential gameplay for a few bucks might be silly but for some it is necessary. But losing months of gameplay for no reason because EA after all these years still have not learned to communicate even basic information? UGH!

I know you don't work for EA, and I'm not trying to take it out on you. Just venting in the only place that gives anything close to updated info.
