First Save File - Quick Question
I am working on my first save file. I wanted to try it out so I uploaded onto simsfileshare (via laptop) and downloaded the save into a new game on my PC. I was able to open the file and everything. I noticed however, the game carries on from where I left off while working on it. So instead of giving me the option to choose a season at the beginning it had the household I was using for my builds as the active household. I created a new family and moved them into one of the lots but I was wondering if this is normal or should it prompt a new season like normal new saves do? Also, it started my week at a Friday when it's normally Monday or Sunday (can't remember which). This is my first time playing in a save file so I am not sure if it's something I did with my save or if this is normal. I watched a tutorial by plumbella and she didn't mention having to do anything special when adding the save to my game. Any thoughts and suggestions is greatly appreciated.

The Sims 4 doesn't understand that you have changed computer: if you put the save file on the right folder, it just let you play the game from the last point, so it's just fine that you didn't choose the season, the play started from the day you were when you played last time and so on.
If I shared my last save file, you would be able to play it like if you had always played it on your computer.
