I have a new character and have set up a pond at home with a fishing sign and set the fish in it as I normally do but it is saying I cannot fish - can anyone advise please
The issue might be caused by where you have placed the fishing sign. Try moving the sign over to the part of the water where the edge of the grass section is and see if that helps. If you still have issues, try making the pond deeper.

I have cleared my cache and still the same - I have also restarted the whole game a number of times and still the same - I am now going to try other characters I have that I know can fish and see it works
