floating water across lot

Hello, I added a house to a 64x64 lot. it is perfect other than the floating water or green stuff floating. I cannot remove it in build mode, and my sims cannot walk through it. unless it is on the same level. It makes my workout room look ghastly. I've done a search on this, and they suggested moving the lot to a new lot. The house was placed backwards on the first lot, and the green stuff was in the front. I moved the house to a new lot, and the house is placed properly, but now the green stuff is in the back. If I delete and level the house and lot, only the green stuff stays. If I rotate the lot, it goes away, but when I lay the house again, it comes back. I can't rotate the house on the lot, for it takes up the whole lot. I am sure it can be removed someway but i just cant figure it out. Here are a couple pics of the problem.  https://gyazo.com/b6fc2cfd309001f50d9605ec786e3a5a

  • GIBBANATOR  From what I can see in your pic, the green patch sort of looks like an artifact of a deleted pool that had the stagnant texture (like the pool on the Windenburg Bluffs lot).  Based on what you said about moving the house to a new lot though, it also seems to be attached somehow to the house since it stayed with the house when you moved it to a new lot.  So, my 1st suggestion is to place a household on the lot then move them and keep the furniture.  If it works and gets rid of the green patch, you'll have to refurnish the house though.  My 2nd suggestion is to place a pool in the area where the green patch is and see if that does anything.  If it is a leftover pool water texture from a deleted pool, it might become accessible, and you can delete/change it, and it stops showing up after you delete the pool again.  Downside of this is having to tear down and rebuild part of the house.

    Hope this helps.

GIBBANATOR I'm going to move you over to Gameplay Issues. If you can post what the Gallery lot was, someone can maybe test it for you.

Yes. the house is a download. If I place it using the vanilla testing, the green stuff is still there, which makes me think it may be with the house itself, but then I don't understand why it would still be there when you level/delete the house. seems like it should be an easy fix. I don't understand why the game would put that in there.
