EDIT: (( I have spoken to Rajnish at EA Help Services. Apparently this issue is known and being resolved. I was told to wait, so, I will wait. I am perturbed about being charged so much for something that didn't work, but what can you do? Stuff happens in life. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Thanks for your time.))
Hello,
I am reaching out to express my frustration with the recent experience I had with The Sims 4. Despite being a long-time player, I encountered a significant issue with the game, which has left me feeling quite upset. I have been charged $120 by EA for The Sims 4 For Rent, and I have a receipt to prove that I have been charged twice for the same product. This has left me feeling ripped off and confused.
What's more, I have been a loyal player for 23 years (since CD's and Blockbuster were a thing), and it is disheartening to see that I am not the only one facing such problems with the game.
I have taken several steps to try to resolve the issue, including canceling my order, clearing the cache, reinstalling the game, and checking my internet connection, but to no avail. I am at a loss as to why I am unable to play the game and why I have been charged twice for it. I would like to know what is causing this issue and how I can get a refund.
I appreciate your assistance in this matter.
Thank you.
I have included the original receipt as proof.
