never tried this aspiration before so idk how long this has been happening, but I had to use UI cheats extension to tick off things I had done, like "plant something 3 times," and "weed or water plan...

could you please link the thread you are referring to ? There's currently an open one for evolve plants but plant something or water seems to be working fine.
Have you tried travelling to see if that makes it complete ?
Also please test with no mods/cc
