EA. PLEASE let us turn off Grim Reaper Rewards and ads.
How can I turn it off? I'm not at all interested in the rewards or the challenges. It's sitting in the corner of my screen ruining my gameplay. Will it go away eventually or am I just stuck with it? Even if this one goes away will I be able to remove the next one?! I thought it would maybe be like the discovery quests that you can opt in or out of, which I already have turned off. PLEASE LET ME TURN IT OFF! I'm so confused as to why they made this a in game situation. Everyone plays this game very differently and this is making me want to stop playing. I've checked all the settings and tried multiple saves and there's nothing you can do. I'm more than annoyed by it, I see a lot of people in the sims community are also wanting to remove this. Stop forcing this kind of thing down our throat. I'll be here searching the internet until this problem has been resolved or until someone makes a mod to remove it all together. You know and I might as well throw in that Vivaland looks better and better everyday......
date/event pop-up menu not opening
Sul sul, fellow simmers 🫡 I come to y'all today to share a weird thing happening in my game? I bought the new Lovestruck pack shortly within the week it came out, but aside from the CAS items, Build items, and more recently the Romance Consultant career, I haven't played around with a whole lot of the pack. I've already gotten to create an event Exactly One (1) Time using the new customization mechanic after it was introduced, but ever since the most recent patch (on a Wednesday, no less), the entire option doesn't work. No matter what I do -- when I try to have one of my sims create a date with another sim, or ask them on a date the regular way, or even just create a regular event -- my sims will reset themselves as if they're being debugged. No date/event pop-up menu, no loading of the map to travel, nothing. I even went to the calendar to make a date directly from there, but whenever I went to extend the date, the same thing happened. And before you ask-- it’s not my mods or my CC, unfortunately. I wish the answer was that simple, lol. The only mods I have that affect my game as a whole are MC Command Center, and another one I probably can't talk about here (think less purple, and more,, green?), but nevertheless, I moved all of my mods and CC outside my EA folder to test it out, to no avail. How do I get this to stop? Do I need to repair my game? (Please God No) Do I just sit and wait for the Sims Team to tack it onto their next laundry list? Please help 😔
stuck in manage worlds.
i updated my game a few days ago and purchased two new packs. since then I have not been able to play. Every time I go into a save and press play I go back into the manage World menu. I thought it was mods so I updated them all and I still have the same problem. I’ve disabled all mods and still have the same issue.
There were several problems with my game today.
Hello, I have a list of issues that I have with my game currently. I cannot cancel an action: There is only an X and the Sim is still doing the action. The game works for 5 minutes and then stops for some odd reason after I use Cupid's Corner. This was true the last time when I was trying to get my Sim to cook. But they just stood there for a long time, and when I was trying to save and get out of the game is when whatever I clicked worked. And there was another where after I clicked on Cupid's Corner, to invite a Sim, they refused, and I clicked on the phone and Cupid's Corner, and nothing happened. The last time that I tried to save and get out of my game, I got a message saying that the game could not save. I had to get out of the game by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete. I do use mods, and I am going to play the game again using only the mods that I need for this game. The rest I will see if this is a mod issue or not. But I am wondering if what some of what I just mentioned (One being unable to cancel an action), is not a mod issue.

I have tried everything I have tried the 50/50 method with my mods and I've completely emptied my mods folder and then i tried turning my mods off completely and I'm still getting this and I don't understand what I can do I can buy a restaurant or vet or anything other than a rental
Not able to play
I am only allowed to play the game for a few minutes before my sim freezes and even resetting them doesn't work. Then I get a error message saying match making service failed. I just spent 40 dollars on a game that I can't even play now. Is anyone else getting this message and if so, did you fix it an how?
My Toddler Crashed My Game
I have recently been playing in a new save with a single sim and her toddler. But I noticed that when I play with the toddler the taskbar section on the far left of the UI scales to the top of the screen. This has happened twice the first time the game didn't crash, and it was fine because I was able to make her grab food or something. However, the second time this happened I wasn't able to give the toddler a task and the task filled the left side of my screen and windows told me my game stopped responding. (Disclaimer: I do play with mods and cc and I regularly update them and I am pretty confident that is not the issue. I will see if I can edit this and add screenshots if that would be of any help.) I think it is really weird that this has only happened with the toddler and not her mom.
