My sim always makes drinks at the bar without me doing anything.
When my sim feels inspired/very inspired, my sim always makes drinks at the bar counter without me doing anything. I have pressed cancel for my sim, but my sim still keeps or can't stop making drinks at the bar counter, when my sim feels inspired. I am very upset and delete the bar counter. is this a bug or a problem?
Random Shoes on random CAS sim not in shoe collection
I just removed all CC I still have a couple mods but none should affect CC. I want to create my own custom save file with all packs integrated into every world except maybe occult sims. I went into start a new game and I picked the first one I saw cause I liked her features. All I wanted to change was hair and clothes. until I got to hot weather. She's wearing a dress and yellow clog type shoes. I thought I've never seen this shoe in that colour. (I say this a lot) so I went searching for the shoe and I couldn't find it. This happens a lot with hot weather so I removed the filters even the gender ones and still I couldn't find it. I even thought maybe its tied to the dress but its not I like the shoe and I'd like to play with it again but once I exit this CAS I won't likely see it again unless you some how figure out how to add it to the selectable CAS items. I'm just not sure the colour matches her hair wrap.
No Heirlooms/Will arriving after sim dies
I'm on the 3rd generation of a legacy, Generation 1 had heirlooms that passed down no problem, but when generation 2 died, nothing ever came in the mail. No wills, no heirlooms. These sims weren't my active household when they died and it's been about 2 in-game weeks. I play with mods but I've disabled them all and reloaded, nothing changed. Those items also aren't in their previous home or inventories. Is anyone else having this issue?
My sim is gaining relationship points randomly?
I'm honestly not sure if this is a bug, or a feature so I hope I'm asking the right place. I do have mods, but I deleted all of them once to check gameplay and this still occurs. Basically, my sim would get random relationship gain/decay throughout their day without interacting with anyone. It's mostly gaining, and it's super annoying because now my sim is best friends with people they just met a few days ago who haven't been contacted since then. It happens about once every six sim hours, and gains about 2-4 relationship points every time (I used mods to check their relationship point gains). I thought maybe it was Social Bunny and deactivated, but said gains still occur. Turns mods off, still occurs. Turned off lifestyles but still occurs. Also, my sim does not have any social traits, and have not completed any aspirations. Is this part of the game? It's lowkey driving me crazy but I haven't seen anyone else talk about it and I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature people have just accepted.
Error code still occuring
Hi, I have the error code 132:8850ce8a:1da8b285 and it is stopping me from playing entirely. I try loading into my save which doesnt work by clicking play, I can go into build mode from the load screen but cannot actually play, odd. I have looked around for solutions and so far I have removed ALL mods and cc from my mods folder, I have tried repairing my game on the EA app, I have tried deleting all my cache but it is still coming up I have looked everywhere for a solution could someone help please?
Pet food bowls expired?
I have been experiencing this issue where my pet food bowls are "expiring". I know they dont expire, but after a certain amount of time they start to emit the green stench that can be seen when normal food expires. I dont think it affects my sims, but it keeps making me think a dish has expired somewhere when really it's just the pet food bowl acting up. Does anyone have any fixes?
Save not loading/Infinite loading screen
I’ve been playing this same save for months, and I’ve been recently playing it every day for weeks. As recent as yesterday evening, there were absolutely no issues. This afternoon, I tried to boot up my save, and it wouldn’t load. The game itself opens just fine, but when I press the resume button, it gets stuck on an infinite loading screen. It doesn’t crash, it just keeps loading. I don’t know if it would eventually load if I let it sit for hours. I’ve tried everything I could think of. I tried 50/50 with my mods and cc, didn’t help. I repaired the game, didn’t help. I took out all of my mods and cc, didn’t help. I let the game generate an entirely clean Sims 4 folder and then only added back my save, didn’t work. When I click the new game button, it takes me to CAS and that works fine, but it won’t let me actually play the game past that. I really have no idea what to do. This save is on gen 4 and I really love it so I really want to get it working :[ UPDATE: Got the new game to work fine, the game functions in a new save with all of my mods like usual. I have genuinely no idea what could be wrong with my regular save since it was working just yesterday :/ UPDATE 2: Oh my God it was their house. It was their house the entire time. 6 hours of troubleshooting and it was the house. I tried building on their lot without actually loading the family and my game crashed, so I moved them to a different lot and it worked. I have no idea what was possibly wrong with the house but there you go. Good lord. I’m gonna go build them a new house. UPDATE 3: Okay, well now we have a new problem. What in the hell is wrong with this lot? I placed a new house there and it didn’t crash, but I decided to check it out in build mode before moving anybody in to see if there was issues. I think I found the problem, and I have…no idea what’s causing it. I attached a video to show the problem. What in the world is this…fog??? If anyone has any idea, let me know, because I sure don’t lol UPDATE 4: Turns out it was just the view distance, the game reset all my graphics settings when I started on a clean file. No weird bug this time. Hallelujah. Hopefully there won’t be anymore updates to this post lol
