The sims 4 has been stuck on build mode screen loading for hours. The only thing it allows me to do is turn the angle of viewing but other than that I can't do anything like clicking on the menu or exiting the game. I have many mods but they haven't been a problem so far, although now Im not sure. I tried removing them but nothing happened. How can I fix this issue?
I had tried to place a lot but it must have glitched and all the furniture is floating.
I can try to find the creator but the issue is I can’t click on anything, not the menu or anything else. I’ve tried exiting the game by quitting it but that hasn’t worked either.
For the lot, I found the creator which is 'Merin Martini' on The Sims Resource, the lot is called 'The Ivory Chateau'. I was trying out different lots and I placed the Ivory Chateau down and then decided i wanted to change it and selected another lot which Im not completely confident is the right one but it could be the 'Wood and Stone balance /No CC/' on The Sims Resource by 'Lhonna'... I hope this gives you an idea of what happened, and thanks for your help so far!

Sorry I hadn't seen this sooner, and yes all is good now, although it happened once again but managed to get out of it by doing what you had suggested. Im not sure why it happens but Im not too bothered if it doesn't happen frequently or completely stop my game from working.
