Gallery help

With regards to question/statement 1: I believe what you are seeing are items in 'your library', as opposed to 'the gallery'. 'Your library' shows any households or builds that you have saved to your library (just for you to see) and/or any households or builds that you have uploaded to the gallery (for others to see and download). If you delete something from the gallery, other players will not be able to download it, but it will still appear in your library until you choose to delete it from there. Your library can act as a way of transferring households or builds between different game saves for example, or if you build a house on one lot, but want to move it to a bigger lot.

With regards to question/statement 2: I've often found that I need to really double check what I'm entering. Make sure that I've selected to search for EA IDs (rather than hashtags for example). Then make sure that the name is typed in correctly (I'm quite bad at copying an EA ID from somewhere and including random spaces either side). Then I double check that the 'maxis curated' box in unchecked. often I uncheck it, hit search, don't get any hits and then find that the box is checked.

@MasheenaSims In addition to @Thats_Me_Madz's excellent and helpful information, I thought I'd mention a few more things. Firstly, I feel your pain... I have done the exact same thing more times than I want to admit! I have had to remove an item I had uploaded to upload a corrected version many times. <sigh> Agree 100% about the coffee thing, too. ☕

• Do you use CC? If you use CC, even if you have the box ticked to show CC in the in-game gallery, it will not show in the online gallery:
   
• In my experience, items shared with the community gallery show up there more quickly than they remove from there. I assume this is a cache issue. I have noticed that it can take up to an hour and sometimes longer for the item that I remove to show as removed in the online gallery.
• If it's any use and you wonder if you're doing the process correctly, there are some screenshots that may clarify here.  

Thank you so much for the reply, @Thats_Me_Madz !! I think it is the gallery, I wasn't looking at the library at all--but that's good information, so thank you! I think it just needed some time because it's all good now.

And yes, you were right--I didn't have 'maxis curated' checked when I searched, but it was clicking on itself after the search! So odd, lol. It's all fixed now!

@MasheenaSims Glad it's all sorted out! 🙌 Yes, that 'Maxis Curated' box auto-ticking itself on a regular basis still bites me on the butt even though I know to watch for it! It's a real pain! 🤔
