I've just tried to share the latest version of my simself's family using the exact same hashtags as the previous one yet for some reason I'm getting the profanity warning, can somebody explain what is triggering the filter and why, and then fix it!

The filter can be a bit harsh sometimes, basically the algorithm goes throe all letters (removing spacing and probably most punctuation) and seeks for letters that make up banned word. For example he'll is banned because if you remove the [ ' ], you have a banned word.
And some people who really want to be derogative really go an extra mile to include a curse.
Unfortunately that also means other words can banned while they shouldn't be.
The problem with your text is likely self-assured. remove the hashtag and it should probably work
Another method to find out is, to start removing word for word. If the notification exists, you can add the word back again, if it doesn't than you know what caused it.

The Gallery has just recently swapped over from using a profanity word list to using a new context aware profanity checking system. With this new system, there can be instances of words being detected and flagged when they shouldn't be.
If you do run into certain words being flagged in The Gallery that should be allowed, please provide your feedback in the Profanity Filter Feedback Survey to help improve the accuracy of this new feature.
I did a makeover on Don Lothario, and the filter wouldn't let me save him with his last name. A name the actual game gave him, lol.

Yeah game won't ever let me save Vladislaus Straud either without throwing a hissy fit about the name...but but - the game called him that it isn't my fault âšī¸
no I didn't couldn't be bothered go through the elimination process, it wasn't wizz,it though as that was just misspelt when posting the question from my phone đ
Can Sims4 make a feature where they'd show which name violates sims4 policy or whatever? imagine creating 8 sims and naming them after the Hindu epic Mahabharata and I have to guess which one of the 8 character's names is "offensive" to sims4. here are the names and tell me which one is offensive so I can change a letter or two: Pandu, Arjuna, Bheema, Yudhishthira, Nakula, Sahadeva, Kunti, Draupadi Krishna, Vasudeva Krishna

Words like "Xoloitzcuintli" and "lothario" are banned and im so confused on what reason or why that is? How am i gonna be able to give him a family if i cant give them their own last name
