Game crashing when going on toy section buy mode

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
• Please also provide any LastException/LastCrash files in your documents folder. Upload them to either google or oneDrive and post the link here.

Playing on pc, still does it with all mods and cc removed, still doing it after update

• Press Windows-Key + R
• Type: DxDiag
• Click on Save all Information.
• Attach the Text File to your post

If it works in that mode, then it's a background program interfering and you will need to find out which one.

Violet_xo16​  You need to leave the EABackgroundService enabled when you test in a clean boot.

Violet_xo16​  Are you saying you get the same error when trying to play in the clean boot, or that you were able to play in a clean boot but it didn't fix the game issue?

If the game crashed again in a clean boot, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
