Game won't load into household

Ever since the update in March, I haven't been able to play the game with mods. Fine, I can manage that. 

NOW, I can't play the game PERIOD. It let's me select a save and a household, then it sits on the loading screen for as long as I'll let it before I decide to force close it with task manager. This is with no mods, drivers updated, game Uninstalled and reinstalled, game repaired, I followed several quick fixes, and clearing the cache. 

Somebody PLEASE help because I would really like to enjoy my game again.

    No last exceptions.

    It's only saves made prior to the March update.

    Just check your documents folder if you have any files called lastException (complete path in my earlier post)

    It's possible that the game doesn't create one for endless loading.

    Is it a specific save you have issues with or also a new one ?

    chael800​ You can find the LastException_(bunch of numbers).txt files in your The Sims folder.   If none are there, then your game didn't generate one when it hung up.  You may also find LastUIException and LastCrash files as well.

    Hi,

    I don't have any last exceptions that I know of. How would I check though?

    Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

    • Delete the ones you have
    • Trigger the error again
    • Check if new ones are created
    • If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
