Sims won't eat
My sims won't eat, they keep crashing every time I try to get them to 'grab a serving'. I've removed custom content/mods and restarted, this didn't work. Evicted the household and moved them back in, this didn't work. I've repaired the game, this didn't work. And I've reset the sim, that also didn't work! They all keep dying of starvation help.I am only seeing a few townies spawn
I've never started a discussion before, so please let me know if I need to add any details. I am seeing almost no NPCs spawn except for the premade ones, like the Landgraabs, Fengs, Fyres, etc. A few game-generated sims will spawn, but only a small amount, usually comprising maybe 1/3 of the sims on a lot. Plus, the game seems to cycle the same sims through a lot multiple times. Ex: Bjorn Bjergsen entered and left Magnolia Blossom Park at least 3 times in 5 minutes on 3x speed. It's driving me mad to go to community lots and see the same 5 sims there each time. I'm also seeing very few sims in general (usually 3-15 ish), but I only have 1 sim in my household, and I even upped the allowance for sims on a lot using MCCC. I added a couple dozen sims from my library to the households, and marked them as unplayed, or "Other Households", and yet I don't see any of them spawning. I have been getting information on them in Neighborhood stories though, like marriages, friendships, etc. I have tried to find other posts about this issue, but it's only bringing up posts asking how to get LESS townies. The only mods I have are (the newest versions of) MCCC and adult mod, but I removed them from the mods folder and started a new save, only to have the same issue. I have repaired the game multiple times. I don't know exactly when the issue started, as I just started playing again this week after a few months break. I didn't notice the problem until I saw Baako Jang on probably 3 community lots in a row, and I started paying attention to what sims were present. prefacing by saying i do use mods and cc but my final test was with my entire mods folder cut pasted out and the problem persisted. basically everytime i make sim interact with say, a chair (sitting) or sleeping in a bed, napping, sitting on it etc you get the idea they stand in one place and the action continues finishing in the action bar anyway? they're not actually interacting with the furniture. screenshots attached
Sims 4 Posture Issue?
I have had this issue for about a week now. I tried Better Exceptions report and it tells me that its a ""interactions/constraints.py" Issue. I've went to their Discord server and they told me it's best if I were to write it in EA Forums. Someone told me it's also a posture issue as well. For example, A Sim holding an umbrella while they were swimming. I've removed all my Mods and Scripts, and fully deleted them as well and the issue still occurs. Is there anyway someone can fix it? Like a proper step-by-step method for me to follow? Nobody has helped me or given me proper instructions either. I'm starting to think this is an EA Issue. Thanks :)
Parent cannot interact with infant
Everything is working fine at the baby age, but once I age up the baby to an infant, the parents cannot interact with it. The only option is "ask to be introduced by" but it is greyed out as if there is nobody nearby. I checked, if I aged up to a toddler, they could interact but first they had to make an introduction. Meanwhile the game knows that they are the parent, it's visible in the sim profile and the relationship details as well. Yes, I do use mods, and yes, I did try taking out all the mods. I also recovered the EA app, cleared cache, restarted the EA app and also repaired the game. I also tried NPC households but had the same issue. Then, I thought okay maybe my gameplay is bugged, so I tried a new household in a new save file. It was working fine so I thought okay then I will try another challenge and just play a new game. It was working as normal until I aged up the baby to an infant and * insert the GTA meme "ah sht here we go again" * I honestly cannot find any solution about this. It drives me crazy because literally makes my game unplayable.
