Corrupted Sim?
Hello! So today, I wanted to play my Save File (first screenshot, error code 110) everything was normal until I tried loading into my Family. after a while, it kicked me back to the Select World Screen with the Error code that you can see in the Screenshot. So naturally, I closed the game and removed my mods folder to see if that will help and cleaned the cache + repaired my Game. Then I opened my Game again, tried to load into the family just to then get stuck in a forever loading loadingscreen. That was weird to me because 3 days ago I played this save file and it worked just fine, since then I have deleted ALL my build/buy custom content, added new clothing CC and used a program to chang all the CC names so there is no special letters or anything (I have never done that before, so I dont know if that might be the issue here, hence why I am mentioning it.) I have not removed any script mods or anything like that (important for the next issue) So after nothing worked, I tested around in the save file, I loaded into a few families, and it worked. Then I got hit with another family where it didnt load and I got hit with another error code. Okay, 2nd family thats broken. Tried around more, found another family. So then I was thinking and decided to see if its the family as a whole, or maybe just a sim from said family thats broken. I split my first family up 1 by 1 and loaded into the lot i moved them to so I can see if these sims are "okay" first family had 6 sims, so i tried 6 different sims and 5 of them, the game loaded just fine. So I knew, okay, its 1 sim from that family thats causing the error. I added her to the family after to see if anything is different and then I noticed that she lost all her Milestones she has gotten throughout her life (infant-adult) So I thought I should check all families where it failed to load if the issue is the same, and it was. All sims where it gives me an error code to load into the family, have lost their milestones, but how? I didnt remove any milestone related mods, i didnt add any milestone related mods. So my next thought was to just test in a completely new save file. I started a new game, got my sim from the gallery and then the next surprise hit me, it wont load there either. No matter what version of the sim I try (I tried teen, young adult, early version of her adult life) it never loaded. So not only are these sims broken in their current save files, they are completely corrupted even when I get them from my gallery. I have no idea what happened and I am so confused with whats going on. Now the 2nd save file ( screenshot number 2, error code 121) That save file is still pretty new, I havent even played a full real life week in it.) Everything was fine there 2 days ago when I last played. Today I tried after all the testing on the first save file, and got stuck in a pretty long loadingscreen (it usually loads pretty fast) but I waited it out. Then, it finally loaded, and I get error code 121 and see that while I was in the loading screen, the game resumed time so the moment I press Ok, 2 of my sims would just die. Same thing here, I tried without mods and cleared cache but without any mods in, it wont even load me in so I will just get stuck in loadingscreen. Because it loaded me in overall, I tried in a new save file, first with only my founder from that family, which worked fine. And then I tried the whole family, and got hit with another infinite loadingscreen, so save to say there seems to be another corrupted sim, or it was because I tried it without mods but either or, it should still load, right? I hope somebody can help me because I am really lost on what to do, even if the saves are overall corrupted, i wouldnt mind that too much, its just that I cant even use these Sims anymore because they just seem to be completely broken ):
Keepsake boxes stuck in inventory
Hi, I’ve been having an issue over the past few days where I can’t drag keepsake boxes from my sims personal inventory. I’ve search how to solve the issue and most say to inventory purge them, but I don’t want to delete them (10 generations of collections). I have also tried moving lots, gifting them to sims, repairing my game, deleting cashes and even putting them as an heirloom… still nothing. When I try getting the sim to “place in world” they just reset and it cancels any actions in the queue as well as any sims near by. I have most packs and no mods or cc.
Gallery Not Available
Is anyone else having trouble with the Gallery? I only have an option to access my own Library but no option to look at the Gallery. I tried signing out and back in but it didn't recognize my password so I reset that. Opened game and still no Gallery option. Quit, repaired game. Still no Gallery option. Quit, removed all mods, still no Gallery option. Any suggestions?
Buy/Build: Objects deselects
I tested a new save file and it seems to be on only this one save file. I tested without mods and the problem persists. When I go into build/buy, I can place the first object (multiple if it's something like a counter) but once I deselect that object and try the next, it constantly deselects the object before I can place it. It's a battle of spam clicking just to place one object. I just started the save file and was changing the apartment I put them in to accommodate the fact they have an infant.
Misc Issues
My sims can’t eat anything. Every time they try to get food you can see a little glitch and then the icon disappears. I can’t drag anything from one place to another. I can only place one item in build mode or delete one item and then I have to go to live play and back to build over and over again. I deleted all mods and CC. Game is updated. I have restarted. Updated drivers. Deleted localthumb.package What else besides repair the game can I do? I’m fed up!
Energy bar permanently increasing
During usual gameplay today my sim's energy bar appears to have bugged. She is consistently gaining energy at the rate she would during sleep whilst going about her day and therefore, after a few minutes, her energy bar is permanently maxed and will not go down regardless of activity. I'm playing a household of 8 sims, and she is the only one experiencing this issue. Removed all mods and cc - still experiencing issue.Opened game and Sims clothes and hair are all gone
I'm afraid to open my save because the Sims in my active save are shown in the main menu without clothes or hair (mostly- one has shoes and one has a robe?), and I don't know what's going on. All my packs are correctly shown as owned (though when I first opened the game, it said I didn't own some packs that I did, and the Sims didn't even appear in the main screen. I exited and relaunched the game and this is what I saw.) I have relaunched multiple times and it is still like this. No mods or cc active.
