Gender settings closed

As far as I am aware this has appeared yesterday with the patch update, but I no longer can open my sims' gender settings. This brings many incovenients, for example not being able to choose my own sim's sexuality, but also I no longer am able to "vanilla" change their gender or even their presentation. What is the point of bringing out an "inclusive" update when my sim must remain the same gender and sexuality over the course of their entire life? Doesn't it defeat the purpose of being able to create a trans sim with their own pronouns if they cannot have a moment they realize they are trans? If they cannot have a moment their sexuality fluctuates? If my sim cannot have a period they are more masculine or more feminine? Not even realizing they might be gender noncomforming?

I'd like for the gender and sexuality settings to remain open throughout the game, for both the realism of gender and sexuality's fluidity, and for one own's pleasure in playing with sims

    Hi there @MalMalson,

    These options are editable after creation- you can go to a mirror or dresser and use the Change Sim interaction there to change any gender or sexual orientation. 

    If you're not seeing this option, it may be due to a mod/CC conflict. Try moving your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Once you've done that, test the game.
    If it works normally, check for updates to your mods/CC. You can then add them back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

    Hello I have had a family for 5 generations until this new update came out our restaurant and shop were lost. All 5 of our teenagers became gay and going to a mirror or dresser opened create a SIM but we were in able to select sexual orientation changes as they were blanked out. so the family we brought through months of game time we murdered as if they can not carry on our family's name then why play it as that family so we murdered all 10 members of the chance household. 

    How do you change pre existing Sims on a PS5?

    @Minxy2012 Did you use Change Sim on the mirror ? The options won't appear if you use plan outfit.
