Glitchier than ever!

Does this happen in a vanilla game?
I would say so, yes. I think at some point I tried using one or two cheat codes. However, those are no longer being used, and I haven't bought any packs or whatever they're called. :)
Of course, Sims will be Sims, and the game seems to be functioning just fine now!
